RINA is currently recruiting for a Asia IFI Business Developer to join its office in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam within the IFI and Organizations Engineering Commercial Management Division.
Mission
Rina is looking for a Business Development Manager for its South East Asia Hub, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, keen to manage the business promoted by the largest International Financial Institutions (IFIs). This role offers involvement in many high-profile opportunities worldwide in key sectors such as decarbonization, climate change, ESG, renewables, green financing, agribusiness and mobility. You will be integrated in a team, fully dedicated to international business development and you will have the chance to interact with the Team of RINA and all the operational units involved in this business in Asia. Travel is expected to be approximately 20-25% of the total time.
Key Accountabilities
Main tasks:
- Establish an excellent level of collaboration with other units of the company and develop a sound understanding of the services provided by RINA
- Work in synergy with the team of RINA, to monitor current investment programs in Asia, to understand their priorities in the field of ESG, Energy, Infrastructures, Mobility.
- Understand the DFIs’ procedures for the whole tendering process (from the pipeline to the award) and contribute to fulfill their requests
- Evaluate, in cooperation with the Operational Technical Units, the opportunities launched by the IFIs
- Contribute and coordinate the preparation of Expressions of Interest and proposals to reply to open and restricted tenders launched by DFIs/Lenders/Investors
- Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with potential partners with complementary competencies and/or already experienced in the area
- Build and boost a local/regional network and interact with suitable partners, local experts and subcontractors to shape the best partnerships for each assignment
- Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with DFIs, in the area through passionate interaction with the Clients
- Support the team in preparing internal reporting of activities performed and achievements
- Facilitate the internal networking, by interacting with the DFI Team of RINA in Italy and the other Operational Units usually involved in the DFI business.
Education
Qualifications
Experience and Requirements:
- An Engineering or Economic background or equivalent degree qualification is essential.
- Previous experience (>5 years) working for a Consultancy and in IFIs funded proposals/projects is required.
- Previous experience in the business development is required.
- Previous interaction and experience with IFIs active in the region – ADB in particular - is required
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders at any level
- Good attitude at working within multicultural/multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential,
- Creativity, curiosity and open-minded approach are highly valuable
