RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Railway Engineer to join its office in Israel within the Civil Engineering Division.
Mission
As part of a resident Technical Team, with long-term assignment, will assign and coordinate the work of the other Rina Consulting experts.The Senior Railway Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, maintenance, and overall management of the railway infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our railway infrastructure and systems.
Key Accountabilities
- to be the primary interface with the Client on site for technical matters;
- to assure a proper management of the Rina Consulting scope of work, both considering technical and administrative aspects;
- to prepare Audit Plans, prepare and / or review project documentation to be delivered to the Client till final approvals;
- to manage all technical aspects that may arise concerning his role;
- to identify and coordinate efficiently Rina Consulting teams composed by employees and consultants, based both at the Italian and the international offices and travelling to site according to the program needs;
to take initiative as problems and opportunities arise, and meet Client’s needs and company expectations.
Education
Qualifications

Experience:
- has a master degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Communications or Civil Engineering, and at least 20 years of work experience;
- has at least 15 years of experience on projects in the Railway / Metro / LRT systems (experience in Metro / LRT is preferred), having developed its experience within a large engineering consulting company and / or within a General Contractor for large rail transit projects;
- has a significant familiarity and technical knowledge on issues related to electro-mechanical systems and their integration, railway systems, civil works and infrastructure, and on System Engineering disciplines (safety, RAM, requirements management, interface management, system testing and commissioning);
- has direct experience of quality assurance processes and auditing tasks;
- has a strong orientation to results, motivation for the assigned role, leadership and organizational skills, strong interpersonal communication capabilities;
- is pro-active, dynamic and able to operate autonomously within the boundaries of this role:
- has an excellent knowledge of the English language (written, read, spoken)
