RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine North Europe Area Business Development Manager to join its office in Denmark/Germany/Sweden/The Netherlands within the Marine North Europe Region Division.

Mission

The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in developing RINA offering of an assigned services portfolio and/or within an assigned geographical coverage

Job Responsibilities

Project
Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner by: 

  • Consistently building and delivering an accurate opportunity pipeline 
  • Assisting with executing short and long-range sales and marketing plans 

Engage with current and potential customers to discuss and understand their needs and requirements 
Drive and monitor the order intake pipeline 
Updating the pipeline with new prospects to be followed up 
Drive and provide support on major contracts, tenders and quotations 
Drive and support contract closing activities and capture lessons learned 
Explore opportunities for alliances and partnerships to explore new markets and opportunities 
Track competitor activity and providing updates on competitor news and intelligence 

Business Development 
Identifies and qualifies a robust pipeline of focused opportunities that align with the RINAGroupbusiness objectives
Work with the management team to identify potential acquisition opportunities Work across the RINA Group developing ‘cross selling’ and mutual opportunities 

Customer 
Engage with current and potential customers to discuss and understand their needs and requirements 
Stay current with RINA’s current and future offerings and technology solutions, including but not limited to customer-tailored tools

What we are looking for

Demonstrate a track-record of cultivating relationships with clients at every level of the organization
Experience and knowledge of relevant area of competence projects 
Experience of preparing quotations, pre-qualifications and tenders
Success with writing, appraising and negotiating detailed contracts and commercial agreements
Knowledge and understanding of industry quality requirements and HSE regulations
Self-motivated, proactive and open minded personality
Strong business attitude, getting things done
Outstanding team-player and capability to work with distributed international teams
