RINA is looking for a Project Commercial Manager, to join a valuable project in USA.
The Commercial Manager / Project Manager (PM) is responsible for overseeing the commercial, contractual, and financial performance of assigned projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures compliance with contract terms, manages project budgets, leads vendor and subcontractor coordination, mitigates risks, and drives projects to successful delivery while protecting the company’s commercial interests.
This individual will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and will be responsible for pushing Engineering items through the full cycle process in order to ensure timely delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review, interpret, and manage all project contracts, amendments, and commercial obligations.
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, including change management, invoicing, performance milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead commercial negotiations with vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect project margins and timelines.
- Prepare, validate, and track change orders, variations, claims, and commercial reporting.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue recognition, and financial KPIs to ensure profitability targets are met.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices, client billing packages, and supporting documentation.
- Provide monthly financial reporting, including earned-value analysis, cost-to-complete, and variance explanations
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure milestone completion.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, construction, and external partners.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet safety, quality, regulatory, and contractual standards.
- Track project progress, resolve issues proactively, and escalate when needed to maintain schedule and budget adherence.
- Serve as primary interface between the company, clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate regular internal and external progress meetings.
- Manage subcontractor contracts, performance evaluations, and commercial compliance.
- Maintain accurate project records, logs, correspondence, and approvals.
- Ensure all commercial decisions and changes are documented and approved according to company policy.
- Support audits, reviews, and close-out documentation.
Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in commercial management, contract administration, or project management—preferably in energy, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Experience with FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or similar contract frameworks (as applicable).
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.
- Excellent analytical, financial, and budgeting skills.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and financial systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently, efficiently, and proactively on multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining a commitment to quality.
- Ability to assess and analyze data and make risk mitigation recommendations to project management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in standard operations and communication software (Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
