Process/Mechanical Engineer - Document Control & Vendor Coordination

RINA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Process or Mechanical Engineer to support document control activities and vendor coordination for a major project. This role ensures technical deliverables from vendors are complete, accurate, and aligned with project requirements, and facilitates smooth handover to the plant.
Location: Gum Springs, AR ( onsite)

Key Responsibilities
- Document Control & Vendor Deliverables
- Review and track engineering documentation from vendors (drawings, datasheets, manuals, certifications).
- Ensure all required documents are submitted in accordance with project specifications and deadlines.
- Identify missing or incomplete vendor package items and coordinate resolution.
- Maintain accurate records in the document management system.
- Project Handover
- Prepare and organize documentation for final handover to operations/plant.
- Verify compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Support
- Provide process or mechanical engineering expertise to validate vendor deliverables.
- Collaborate with procurement, QA/QC, and construction teams to resolve technical queries.
- Coordination
- Interface with vendors, internal engineering teams, and document control specialists.
- Support large-scale project execution by ensuring timely and accurate documentation flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in large industrial or energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of vendor documentation requirements (datasheets, P&IDs, manuals).
- Familiarity with document control systems and project handover processes.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EPC projects and vendor package management.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance documentation for plant operations.
- Proficiency in document management tools (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint).
