🔧 Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent – Commissioning (FLNG Project)
📍 Location: South Korea

📄 Contract: 1 year (Expat)
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent with strong FLNG commissioning experience to support commissioning and start‑up activities for a major FLNG project based at a shipyard in South Korea.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate instrumentation and automation commissioning activities in line with the project commissioning strategy and schedule
- Lead and manage a team of I&A commissioning specialists, supervisors, and engineers
- Ensure commissioning and start‑up activities are executed in compliance with HSE, QA/QC, project specifications, and procedures
- Interface with Construction and Mechanical Completion teams for punch list identification, resolution, and clearance
- Coordinate commissioning activities for instrumentation, control, and automation systems, including package vendors
- Review and approve commissioning documentation such as procedures, drawings, loop folders, test reports, and operational test procedures
- Monitor readiness of I&A systems for start‑up, including training, spares, consumables, and commissioning dossiers
- Support offshore commissioning and start‑up activities when required
- Coordinate vendor call‑outs and manage interfaces with contractors and equipment suppliers
- Ensure completion and handover of commissioning documentation for instrumentation and automation systems
🔹 Requirements:
- Proven experience as Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent / Commissioning I&A Coordinator or similar role
- Mandatory commissioning experience on FLNG projects or large offshore oil & gas facilities
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- At least 10 years’ experience in commissioning and start‑up activities
- Strong background in instrumentation, control, and automation commissioning
- Prior experience with offshore commissioning and start‑up
- Availability for offshore rotation if required
- Strong knowledge of commissioning planning, system testing, start‑up, and handover processes
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong HSE awareness in commissioning environments
- Willingness to travel to other work sites as required
