RINA is currently recruiting for a Treasury & Cash Management Intern to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Global Credit & Finance Division.

Mission

The Cash Management Intern will assist the Cash Manager and support the team in learning and developing skills related to cash management activities. The trainee will gain valuable hands-on experience in maintaining liquidity, optimizing cash flow, and managing banking relations throughout the internship. #LI-MR1

Key Accountabilities

Cash Flow Monitoring:

  • Support the team in monitoring the daily cash positions of company bank accounts.
  • Assist in analyzing cash flow patterns and learn to provide insights to assist in decision-making.

Bank Relationship Support:

  • Help in reviewing and organizing documentation for accessing banking services.
  • Assist with tasks related to the opening and closing of company bank accounts.
  • Collaborate with team members on interactions with financial institutions and stakeholders.

Cash Concentration and Pooling:

  • Learn about the management of hedging contracts and derivatives, particularly in relation to currency management.
  • Support the implementation and management of cash concentration and pooling structures.

Transaction Execution:

  • Assist in facilitating fund transfers, wire transactions, and other cash-related activities.

Compliance and Risk Support:

  • Support adherence to financial policies, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Assist in mitigating financial risks related to cash management activities.

Reporting:

  • Help in generating reports related to cash management for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in providing regular updates on cash positions and liquidity status.

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in English is a plus.
