RINA is currently recruiting for a Technology Innovation, Strategy and Roadmapping Consultant to join its office in Genoa, La Spezia or Rozzano within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
Mission
Join RINA Consulting S.p.A. as a Technology Innovation, Strategy and Roadmapping Consultant within the Sustainability and Business Innovation division. This role involves supporting clients through bespoke consulting services focused on technology-driven market insights and strategic innovation. You will actively contribute to initiatives centered on technological advancement and decarbonisation, leveraging your expertise to facilitate impactful solutions in evolving sectors such as CCUS and hydrogen value chains. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in transformative projects that drive sustainable growth and technological excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead comprehensive technological scenario analyses to uncover and evaluate cutting-edge technologies and associated suppliers, tailored to the unique needs of each project.
- Develop and optimise supply chain strategies and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability within clients' operations.
- Identify and monitor emerging technology trends and key industry players, providing insightful intelligence to guide strategic decision-making.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation to support private entities in securing grants, incentives, and funding from regional, national, and EU programmes such as PNRR and Horizon Europe.
- Collaborate actively in EU-funded projects, embracing opportunities to travel across Europe and contribute to multidisciplinary, international teams.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and delivering value-driven consulting services.
- Support due diligence efforts within investment and M&A processes by offering thorough technical assessments aligned with market and technological developments.
- Engage in process mapping and optimisation activities to streamline client operations, maximising impact and resource allocation.
- Participate in the design and execution of supply chain and value chain analyses, facilitating clients’ strategic transformations towards more resilient and sustainable models.
Education
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrate approximately 1 to 3 years of professional experience within consultancy environments or fast-paced, results-oriented organisations.
- Exhibit experience in one or more of the following areas: process optimisation, technological scenario analysis, market and competitive intelligence, subsidised finance, EU R&D projects (including Horizon Europe Framework), or Technical Due Diligence.
- Proven ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients, ensuring clarity and building trusted partnerships.
- Fluent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, enabling participation in international projects and collaborations.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyse data, generate insightful presentations, and support effective communication.
