RINA is currently recruiting for a Sustainable Transition & Gender Junior Consultant to join its office in Genova or Milano, Italy within the ESG & Sustainability Division.

Mission

The Resource Efficiency and Management Unit of RINA is seeking a highly motivated candidate to support the team in the management and development of projects and proposals  for the International Financing Institutions (EBRD, EIB, WB, etc.). The successful candidate will have passion in the energy transition and green economy sectors, a good attitude to project management, good communications skills and a strong teamwork attitude.

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in running projects for the International Financing Institutions in the field of energy transition, SME (small medium enterprises) competitiveness, gender parity, agribusiness value chain
  • Active interaction with the client aimed at both project deliveries and commercial opportunities identification and development
  • Support in elaboration and revision of technical reports for International Financing Institutions related to Green Financing and SME competitiveness
  • Interaction with local and international consultants in the countries of operations and assure the whole project standard of quality
  • Develop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates
  • Support the team in general management of the projects meeting client’s requests
  • Stay abreast of regulations and best practices related to product quality and safety, environment and health and safety of SME #LI-MP3 

Qualifications

  • Passion and interest in learning and in giving contribution in the energy transition field and in topics related to gender empowerment especially in the context of a just transition.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English both oral and written, a third language will be considered as a plus;
  • Ability to write well structured, concise and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents
  • Availability for short business trips within and outside EU
  • Very good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point

Education

University Degree (preferably engineering or economy)
