RINA is currently recruiting for a Sustainability Project Manager to join its office in Genova, Roma or Napoli Or Milano, Italy within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.
Mission
The Project Manager in this role takes on a leadership position, contributing strategic insights and overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget. It is a pivotal role in client relationships, team development, and the implementation of impactful solutions in the field of sustainability, providing strategic consultancy activities in several sectors (e.g., manufacturing, O&G, energy, public entities).
Key Accountabilities
The Sustainability Project Manager deals with strategic consultancy projects.
By joining the team, you will be involved in:
- Projects management for industrial customers, ensuring completion of deliverables within the defined deadlines, scope, and budget;
- Management of customer relationships and identification of business opportunities;
- Internal coordination of techno-economic proposal preparation;
- Oversee projects related to sustainability: assist clients in measuring the impacts of their organizations/products/services, conduct ESG assessments, support the development of decarbonization/sustainability strategies, and help clients in reporting their ESG performance in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay informed and able to investigate emerging sustainability trends and monitor developments based on new or updated legislation and certifications.
Qualifications
- 2 years of previous work experience in the sustainability field
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of sustainability topics and instruments such as LCA methodology, GHG accounting, CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy.
- Knowledge of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
