RINA is currently recruiting for a Sustainability Consultant to join its office in Genova or Napoli within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Mission

 

A Sustainability Consultant focused on providing customers with sustainability and circularity services typically has a client-facing role that involves guiding businesses in adopting more sustainable and circular practices. 

Key Accountabilities

 

1. Customer Engagement:
- Interface directly with clients to understand their sustainability objectives, challenges, and business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining strong client relationships.


2. Sustainability and Circularity Assessment:
- Conduct in-depth sustainability and circularity assessments tailored to the specific needs and objectives of each client.
- Identify opportunities for improving environmental, social, and economic impacts within the client's operations.


3. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Modeling:
- Develop and execute Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) models for the client's products or processes.
- Communicate LCA results in a clear and understandable manner to clients, helping them make informed decisions.


4. Preparation of Written Documents:
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life Cycle Costing (LCC), Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA), Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions reports, and other relevant documents.
- Ensure that reports are tailored to the client's needs and provide actionable insights.


5. Eco-design:
- Collaborate with clients on eco-design initiatives, integrating sustainability principles into the product design and development process.
- Provide guidance on sustainable material choices and design strategies.


6. Calculations and Data Analysis:
-Conduct complex calculations related to sustainability metrics, such as environmental, economic, and social indicators.
- Assist clients in interpreting data and understanding the implications for their business.


7. Stakeholder Communication:
- Assist clients in communicating their sustainability efforts to stakeholders, including customers, investors, and the public.
- Develop communication materials and strategies to enhance the client's sustainability image.


8. Continuous Improvement:
- Collaborate with clients to identify ongoing opportunities for improvement in sustainability practices.
- Provide guidance on the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance sustainability performance.


9. Project Management:
- Manage sustainability projects, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting client expectations.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to execute projects effectively.


10. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the client's cross-functional teams, including R&D, supply chain, and marketing, to integrate sustainability considerations into decision-making processes.

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General
