RINA is currently recruiting for a Software Application Engineer to join its office in Genova within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

RINA is hiring! We are looking for people interested in Aerospace & Defence software engineering activities that are able to work in agile team and are looking for a stimulating and dynamic environment.

Key Accountabilities

As software engineer, the activities in which you can be involved are the following:

Requirement analysis: analysis of requirement of high level that describe the system
Software Requirement Definition: definition of detailed requirements that regulate the software behaviour
Software architecture definition: definiton of a software architecture to be then developed
Software Development: develop of pieces of code to realise the bespoke software
Troubleshooting and test support: activities of troubleshooting on the software and test support

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

Qualifications

We require the following experience and skills

Excellent knowledge of the entire software life cycle
Excellent knowledge of Python, Java and/or C++
Good knowledge of matlab
Excellent knowledge of GIT
Aptitude for test-driven development, writing unit tests and writing code that respects quality and performance metrics.
Excellent knowledge of the main design patterns and O.O programming principles.
Experience in aerospace development and good knowledge of standards
