RINA is currently recruiting for a Site Product & Quality Engineer to join its office in La Spezia within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Mission

We are looking for an Engineering professional with experience in Quality Assurance and Process Control to join our team. The role includes overseeing production documentation and inspections, managing non-conformities via SAP QM, supporting root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with EN 9100 and ISO 9001 standards. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, has strong analytical and project management skills, and is comfortable working across production, quality, and client-facing activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Production Oversight: Verify production documents (work cycles, inventory, records) and perform visual and dimensional inspections as needed.

  • Equipment & Testing: Ensure equipment availability and calibration; verify technical tests and report any non-conformities.

  • Quality Management: Handle non-conformities via SAP QM, support root cause analysis, and conduct FAI and process validations per EN 9100.

  • Compliance & Procedures: Check departmental procedures for alignment with the Quality Manual and maintain a solid understanding of the Quality Management System.

  • Client & Project Focus: Identify client needs to support business development and manage project milestones from concept to completion.

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering.

  • Experience in Quality Assurance and Process Control, ideally in industrial/manufacturing settings.

  • Knowledge of EN 9100, ISO 9001, and SAP QM for non-conformity management.

  • Skilled in interpreting technical documents and performing visual/dimensional inspections.

  • Strong project management, problem-solving, and root cause analysis abilities. #LI-SC1
