RINA is currently recruiting for a Setting to Work Senior Technician to join its office in Rome/La Spezia within the Space & Defence Division
Mission
We are looking for a technician/junior System Engineer for support on bord activities related to setting to work of complex electronic systems for our client End User.
The candidate has to be available to operate on different sites in Italy .
Job Responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Verify correctness of system installation and integration processes (including operational & maintenance space, cabling, etc.)
- Conducting site inspection and supporting system commissioning activities
- Supporting the acceptance phases providing support to system operation
- Understanding End User’s needs and concerns
- Proposing solutions in coordination with the supplier for technical issues using ad hoc templates and modules to report the needs.
Skills:
- Experience in system installation (e.g. switching units, industrial pc, alarm system, firefighting systems…)
- Experience with testing equipment and applications
- Strong Problem solving
- Ability to work well in team environment
- Excellent communication related to customer service activities
- Knowledge of Linux OS and programming tools it a plus
- Fluent English ability to understand autonomously technical documents and standards
