RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Road Engineer to join its office in Genova, Lecce or Milano, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division.
Mission
The candidate will join the team of Road and Bridge Design within the BU Infrastructure with particular focus on international infrastructure projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Identify the specific tasks for an infrastructure project (definition of the deliverable list, definition of the interfaces between different disciplines)
- Coordinate a team of road designers in order to develop an international project
- Identify the required technical tasks according to the contract technical specifications and project requirements
- review road models considering the applicable Italian/International codes (DM2001, DM2006, AASHTO)
- Define the road alignment at feasibility, schematic and detail design level
- Create/review horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles and cross sections, Design custom traffic signs
- Be an integral part of the team to coordinate specialists' input to modeling
- Collaborate for doing estimation, planning and tracking of the project
Qualifications
- Hold a MSc in Civil Engineering with specialization in Infrastructure/Road Design
- Have knowledge of the Italian and International Technical Codes for road design
- Have knowledge in CIVIL Design or other specific software for the road design
- Have fluent knowledge in English (a basic knowledge in French, Spanish or Portuguese will be an added value) #LI-MP3
