RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Indirect Supply Chain Buyer to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Supply Chain Strategic Purchasing & Mobility Division.
Mission
As the Senior Supply Chain Buyer, you will have a crucial role in optimizing our Supply Chain strategies. You will be responsible for conducting thorough supplier research, negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier orders, and supporting various business processes from bid preparation to project execution, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring that our Supply Chain strategies are robust, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s overarching strategic objectives. #LI-VB1
Key Accountabilities
Supply Chain Strategy Development & Implementation:
- Lead the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies, ensuring full compliance with guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements all over the world.
Advanced Vendor Management:
- Oversee the scouting and segmentation of suppliers, by logging in Vendor List managed by Vendor Qualification Unit.
RFQ & Bid Management:
- Issue RFQs, manage bid receipts, conduct thorough evaluations, and compare bids.
Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on Supply Chain performance and make strategic recommendations.
Strategic Supplier Relationship Management:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of supplier capabilities and maintain long-term, strategic relationships to drive innovation.
Target Setting & Negotiation:
- Define target prices, communicate with vendors for Best and Final Offers, and negotiate contracts.
Final Bid Comparison & Contract Management
Conduct final bid comparisons, evaluate commercial conditions, and finalize contracts with vendors.
Education
Qualifications
- Maximum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Chain management, or analysis of Commercial Contract in a law firm or in company legal department
- A significant experience in the procurement department for consultancy services in the fields of Finance and Administration, HR, Legal, Insurance, Environmental, Tax, and corporate organization services, as well as similar services (mandatory)
- Extensive experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in Supply Chain activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage stress and work peaks
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperate in a team.
- Fluent in Italian and excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
