RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Construction Supervision Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division.

Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to oversee and supervise international infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in coordinating and managing civil engineering projects abroad, ensuring high-quality execution, compliance with regulations, and effective stakeholder communication. This position requires periodic short-term travel to project sites in countries such as Macedonia, Puerto Rico, and Malaysia.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead and supervise the execution of civil engineering and infrastructure projects abroad.

  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth project implementation.

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality control measures.

  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to infrastructure projects.

  • Prepare and review technical reports, plans, and documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and precise reporting #LI-MT3

Education

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
Other in Construction and Environment

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering project supervision and coordination.

  • Proven experience in infrastructure projects on an international scale is highly preferred.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to different work environments.

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel internationally for short-term assignments.
