RINA is currently recruiting for a Renewable Power Coordinator to join its office in Milan, Rome, Genoa, Lecce - Italy within the Green Energy Solutions Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing Owners and Independent Engineering for renewable energy projects within Italy and Southeast Europe. You will be expected to travel approximately 10% of your time.

Key Accountabilities

  • Reviewing resource, technology, structural studies, civil and drainage design, contractual documentation, environmental studies, permitting, health & safety reports
  • Execute feasibility studies as well as preliminary design of renewable power plants
  • Some degree of project management, proactively communicating with clients, the internal team and stakeholders to deliver client requirements
  • Supporting the preparation of proposals and reports
  • Supporting the preparation and management of tendering, negotiation and selection of contractors and key component provider, BoP, O&M, or EPC contracts and planning condition discharging
  • Conducting site visits

Education

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering

Qualifications & Experiences

  • A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification is essential
  • Proficiency with AutoCad and structural calculations tools (SAP, Midas, etc)
  • Over 5 years renewable energy experience in either solar PV or wind is essential
  • Experience of renewable permitting process would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working for an Engineering & Consultancy Firm or an EPC Contractor would be beneficial
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential
