RINA is currently recruiting for a Railway Field Laboratory Junior Assessor to join its office in Genoa or Naples, Italy within the Transport & Infrastructure Certification Division.

Mission

As a Railway Field Laboratory Junior Assessor you will play a crucial role in supporting the test on field, focusing on electrical tests and developing new railway mechanical tests while ensuring accreditation ISO 17025 standards are met. #LI-MC1

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assessment and Validation Support: You will support assessment and validation activities for railway projects, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Delivery Assurance: Ensure timely and successful delivery of assessment and verification plans under the supervision of an Assessor or Senior Assessor.
  • Project Support: Actively contribute to projects' success by helping achieve timely and satisfactory results that align with project goals.
  • Compliance and Standards: Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Support in developing technical knowledge and facilitating effective knowledge transfer to other employees within the organization.
  • Client Feedback Analysis: Analyze client feedback to make recommendations for service improvement continuously.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in project management activities, including project progress monitoring and providing necessary support.
  • Design Verification Assistance: Support in design verification according to reference standards, structural checks, and completeness checks on the quality system documentation.

Education

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering

Qualifications

  • Driving license type B.
  • English Level Minimum B2.
  • Passion for the railway industry and a drive to grow professionally in this field.
