RINA is currently recruiting for a R&D Business Support Advisor to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Research & Development Strategy Division.

Mission

The job will include contacts with the partners forming the consortium, definition of the project budget and eligibility check, liaison with suitable industrial and academic partners to gather information for submission of research proposals - ensuring proposals are prepared, initially assessed and submitted to the required standards and deadline. Further activities include negotiation of projects, contract management and amendments. 

Job Responsibilities

R&D proposals preparation and submission

Support in the administrative, financial coordination and participation in EC funded proposals and Italian national/regional schemes, in collaboration with the technical project managers.

The job will include analysis of the calls, contacts with the partners forming the consortium, definition of the project budget and eligibility check, liaising with suitable industrial and academic partners to gather information for submission of research proposals - ensuring proposals are prepared, initially assessed and submitted to the required standard and deadlines. Further activities include negotiation of projects, contract management and amendments.

Support to the consortium in the administrative and financial issues related to project management.

Experiences and Requirements

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Availability to attend project meetings (typically 2 days out from office, in Italy/Europe, when the pandemic situation will be terminated)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English and Italian (both oral and written)

Education

Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or Economics
