RINA is currently recruiting for a Process Improvement Engineer to join its office in Genova within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
Mission
We are seeking a Process Improvement Engineer to support our clients in analysing, optimising, and redesigning business and engineering processes. This role plays a key part in enhancing operational performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering cross-functional efficiency within complex organisations. The ideal candidate has a structured mindset, strong analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities

Analyse existing business and technical processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities

Design optimised workflows and support their implementation across organisational functions

Review and update technical and operational procedures to improve clarity, traceability, and alignment with standards

Assist in the qualification, segmentation, and performance monitoring of suppliers

Support the execution of second-party audits to assess compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements

Contribute to the design and delivery of training sessions to build process awareness and ownership across teams
Education
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field

Experience in process mapping and workflow optimisation within industrial or service environments

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and ability to interpret operational metrics

Strong technical writing skills for the development of procedures and documentation

Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders

Problem-solving attitude with strong communication and organisational skills
