RINA is currently recruiting for a Mobility & Logistics Economical Estimator to join its office in Genoa, Rome or Naples, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division.
Mission
As a Transport Economist, you will be involved in the development of technical activities on various transport and mobility projects both national and international with a focus in all aspects related to economics and financial aspects.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide expertise in economic aspects to enhance the success of transport and mobility projects
- Conduct thorough financial analyses to assess project feasibility, costs, and potential returns
- Develop economic tasks and projects, emphasizing economic considerations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support in the development and implementation of economic strategies aligned with project goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, offering economic support. Ensure economic considerations are integrated into engineering decision-making processes.
- Interface with clients and project stakeholders to address technical aspects with economic implications.
- Assist the business development team in preparing bids and proposals for transport and mobility projects.
- Contribute to the development of economic models, business model evaluations and cost-benefit analysis.
- Contribution in the preparation of comprehensive economic reports detailing project expenditures
- Communicate economic findings to project stakeholders
- Maintain strong understanding of evolving market trends, industry developments, and economic factors influencing the transportation sector.
- Incorporate relevant economic insights into project strategies and solutions.
Education
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, specialised in transport sector,
- Deep knowledge of Transport and Mobility sector,
- Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct desk research on emerging transport and mobility solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Italian.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Availability to travel #LI-AU5
