RINA is currently recruiting for a Market & Business Strategy Consultant to join its office in Genoa or Rozzano within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
Mission
RINA is looking for a motivated Consultant to join the Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline in Genova, Rozzano or Rome.
Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline provides consulting services such as Commercial & Financial Due Diligence, Financial Modelling, Business Planning, Market Analysis, Subsidized Finance (e.g., Innovation Fund, IPCEI, CEF, etc.), Cost-Benefit Analysis. We deal with large companies, SMEs, international financial institutions, investment & commercial banks, development & multilateral banks, governmental & export credit agencies.
Key Accountabilities
As Consultant you will work as part of a young and motivated team, helping clients to:
- Analyse market trends from an economic & financial perspective.
- Support clients in securing sustainability-related funding and grants, including (but not limited to) Innovation Fund, IPCEI, CEF, and Contratti di Sviluppo.
- Conduct market research and analysis to provide strategic insights into market trends and regulatory developments, with a particular focus on decarbonization technologies (e.g., solar, wind, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, biogas, power grids, etc.).
- Perform quantitative analyses (e.g., database development, dashboard, etc.).
- Design financial strategies and elaborate project applications to funding opportunities.
- Deliver market analysis, cost-benefit analysis, business planning, business modelling, and exploitation strategies for Horizon Europe funded projects and participate in general assemblies and events around Europe.
Education
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in data driven fields such as Management, Economics, Statistics, Management Engineering with record of strong academic achievements.
- 1-4 years of work experience in management consulting firms, financial institutions, or in similar roles in corporates.
- Proven interest in energy market dynamics and policies (e.g., PPA structuring, carbon trading mechanism, funding opportunities & incentives).
- Previous experience in Market Analysis, Cost-Benefit Analysis, and Financial Modelling is considered a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
- Very good command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Ability to build and maintain and internal and external quality professional relationships.
