RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine Senior Project Manager to join its office in Genova within the Marine Consulting Division.
Mission
This role as a Marine Senior Project Manager at RINA Consulting S.p.A. is crucial in developing studies related to Ship Stability, preparing feasibility studies, developing related documents, and resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements. In this role, you will ensure client requirements and applicable standards are met.
The projects you will be involved in could encompass new building, conversion, and existing vessels. Key Accountabilities
- Develop or update NAPA Software Models to enhance ship stability calculations and simulations
- Prepare Full Intact and Damage Stability Booklets to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Perform Longitudinal Strength Calculations of Cargo Holds to optimize vessel structural integrity
- Assist clients during the design and construction phases, offering expert guidance and support on stability issues
- Resolve issues related to conflicting design requirements and standards to deliver high-quality solutions
- Review project deliverables to guarantee technical excellence and adherence to project goals
- Assess complex stability problems for internal/external clients and propose effective solutions
- Oversee and manage day-to-day project elements to ensure timely and successful project completion
- Conduct stability assessments and provide specialist advice for service delivery, research, or development work within agreed parameters
- Take ownership and responsibility for the financial progress of assigned tasks to meet project objectives
- Apply project management concepts to manage projects effectively and contribute to project success
- Understand and apply project management principles to provide valuable feedback to the project manager

Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of NAPA software or equivalent to efficiently carry out ship stability analyses
- Broad knowledge of Class rules and statutory regulations, particularly International Load line Convention and SOLAS, to ensure regulatory compliance
- Language skills: fluency in Italian and English to effectively communicate with stakeholders and clients
