RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine Quality Advisor Internship to join its office in Genova, Italy within the RINA Services QOHSE Division.​

Mission

A Quality Advisor typically plays a crucial role in supporting the QMS function within an organization. The role supports the application of the Corporate and Company policies, developing and implementing QMS policies, guidelines, procedures and protocols, for the security of Company assets, projects and business travels. #LI-DC2

Key Accountabilities

Compliance Monitoring
You will be responsible for monitoring the organization's adherence to all relevant Quality Management System requirements. Staying abreast of regulatory changes, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure policies remain compliant and current.

Risk Assessment
Assist in conducting detailed risk assessments that identify potential risks among the services delivered. This includes working closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate risk factors and implement innovative solutions that mitigate risks before they impact personnel or operations.

Training and Education
Support the creation and delivery of dynamic QMS training programs tailored to various employee groups to increase quality awareness and competency. You will contribute to developing engaging educational material designed to embed quality culture within the organization.

Findings Management
Participate actively in thorough analysis of findings to determine root causes. You will support documentation, analysis, and follow-up actions aimed at preventing recurrence and promoting continuous quality improvements.

Data Analysis and Reporting
Collect, analyze, and interpret QMS data to identify trends and inform strategy. You will prepare regular reports detailing QMS performance metrics and offer actionable recommendations to leadership and operational teams.

Inspections and Audits
Perform internal QMS audits, in Italy and abroad, documenting findings meticulously. Support and collaborate with relevant departments in case of external inspections/audits to address non-conformities, ensuring continuous compliance with QMS standards and enhancement of quality procedures.

Communication and Collaboration
Facilitate clear and consistent communication of QMS policies and practices across all organizational levels. Participate in QMS committee meetings and champion a collaborative approach towards fostering a proactive quality culture.

Documentation and Record Keeping
Maintain precise and comprehensive records of QMS activities, audits, training, and findings. Assist with preparations for external and internal audits to demonstrate compliance and transparency.

Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to advance QMS processes by integrating industry best practices and innovations. Maintain ongoing learning to keep abreast of best practices, updating of rules, technologies and regulations that enhance quality outcomes

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Environmental Engineering

Qualifications

  • Willingness to become part of Quality Advisory team within marine sector.
  • General knowledge of applicable local, national, and international Quality Mnagement Systems requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and quality audits
  • Willingness designing and delivering impactful QMS training and awareness programs tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis related to QMS performance indicators, with capacity to translate findings into practical recommendations for improvement.
