RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine & Certification HSSE Senior Advisor to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the RINA Services QOHSE Division.

Mission

A Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor typically plays a crucial role in supporting the HSE function within an organization. The role supports the application of the Corporate and Company policies, developing and implementing security policies, guidelines, procedures and protocols, for the security of Company assets, projects and business travels.

Key Accountabilities

The HSSE Senior Advisor will take care of supporting Head of Marine & Certification OU in:

Developing, maintaining, reviewing and continuously updating and improving the HSE management system of Marine, Certification and T&I Business and improve its effectiveness with reference to RSSE Branch Offices and Subsidiary Companies Out of Italy.
Supporting the Business OUs in the implementation of Action Plan defined following HSE Gap ANALISYS performed to RSSE Branch Offices and Subsidiary Companies Out of Italy.
Ensuring compliance with the applicable HSE legislation, including HSSE audits with reference to RSSE Branch Offices and Subsidiary Companies Out of Italy.
Supporting the business in the timely execution of HSE corrective and preventive actions coming from internal and external audits with reference to RSSE Branch Offices and Subsidiary Companies Out of Italy.
Preparing reports on Health, Safety, Security and Environmental performance with reference to RSSE Branch Offices and Subsidiary Companies Out of Italy.

Education

Master’s Degree in Environmental Science or Healthcare

Qualifications

Proven experience in as HSSE Senior Advisor
Knowledge of the international standards related to Management Systems (e.g. ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc)
Fluent in English and Italian
Solid understanding of statistical data analysis
Working knowledge of MS Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
