RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Road Engineer to join its office in Genova, Milano or Lecce, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to engineers in road design as part of the BU Infrastructure.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare road models considering the applicable Italian codes (DM2001, DM2006)
  • Define the road alignment at feasibility, schematic and detail design level
  • Create horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles and cross sections
  • Design custom traffic signs #LI-MP3
  • Be an integral part of the team to coordinate specialist's input to modeling
  • Collaborate for doing estimation, planning and tracking of the project
  • Prepare the safety barriers layout

Qualifications

  • Hold a MSc in Civil Engineering with specialization in Infrastructure Design
  • Have basic knowledge of the Italian and International Technical Codes for road design
  • Have basic knowledge in CIVIL Design or other specific software for the road design
  • Have good knowledge in English 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
