RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Railway Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Rome or Naples, Italy within the Transport & Mobility Division.

Mission

RINA is looking for a Junior Railway Engineer to join our Railways & Mass Transit department. 

The role will be focused on Railway and Metro Projects, specifically across vehicles, Signalling system, and other technical systems and liasing with system engineering disciplines (including RAMS). 

Key Accountabilities

Main tasks: 
 

  • Support the Railway Engineering Team in different technical activities related to Railway Systems (e.g. Computer-Based Interlocking, Telecoms, Power supply, Rolling Stock, etc.) 
  • Review technical reports and documentation related to the design and safety of projects 
  • Participation in meetings related to safety issues in different phases of projects (Planning, Design, Construction, Testing and Commissioning) 

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Maximum 3 years of experience  
  • Interest in increasing knowledge of Railway Technologies and  Metro Systems 
  • Good teamworking and communication skills 
  • Good level of English (both spoken and written) 
  • Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad
