RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager - Energy, Water and Resource Efficiency Engineering to join its office in XXXX within the ESG and Sustainability Project Management Division.
Mission
The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting project execution and assisting in the coordination of tasks to ensure successful project delivery. Working under the guidance of a Project Manager, the Associate Project Manager helps manage resources, monitor project timelines, and maintain effective communication among team members and clients.
The Energy, Water and Resource Efficiency Project Management Team of RINA is seeking a highly motivated person to support the team in the project management of green energy transition, industrial / buildings energy efficiency, agribusiness and biofuels production projects and preparation or related proposals.
The successful candidate will have passion in the energy transition and green economy sectors, good communications skills and a strong teamwork attitude. Experience in project management is required. Knowledge of International Financing Institutions as clients will be considered a plus.
Key Accountabilities
• Support the team in general management of the projects meeting client’s requests, to understand Clients’ needs and pass the requests to the technical team in an efficient way.
Support ongoing activities related to technical due diligences in the renewable energy sector, with particular focus on energy production and biomethane production plants.
• Coordinate internal and external experts for the assessment of renewable energy projects, including technical documentation review, site visits, and preparation of reports for investors and financial institutions.
• Interaction with local consultants in the countries of operations and assure the whole project standard of quality;
• Identify and develop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates.
Qualifications
• Up to 3 years of experience in similar roles will be considered as a plus
Experience in energy sector and energy production technologies
• Knowledge / Experience with International Financing Institutions as clients will be considered a plus
• Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes relevant to the sector will be considered a plus
• Experience in energy audits, energy balance and ISO 50001 standards will be considered a plus
• Passion and interest in learning and in giving contribution in the energy transition field
• Excellent communication skills in English both oral and written, Spanish language will be considered as a plus
• Ability to write well structured, concise and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents
• Availability for short business trips within and outside EU
• Very good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point
