RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior ESG Specialist - Ente Registro Italiano Navale to join its office in Genoa within the Division.
Mission
The Registro italiano Navale, a non-profit organization (hereinafter "Registro"), majority shareholder of RINA S.p.A., promotes sustainable development, safety, and the ecological transition in various sectors, for the benefit of the entities and associations represented on its Assembly and other public and private stakeholders.
As part of its activities, the Registro is looking for a Junior ESG Specialist, within its organization at the Genoa office, reporting directly to the Secretary General.
The position will oversee initiatives outlined in the Registro strategic plan and disseminate its results, particularly in the context of research, development, and training projects, including, but not limited to, ecological transition, safety, and sustainability, and other social initiatives falling within the Registro objectives. #LI-MB4
Key Accountabilities
- To support the Secretary General by seeking opportunities and monitoring the progress of initiatives funded (in whole or in part) by the Registro and developed in collaboration with other entities, institutions, associations, and other interested stakeholders. This role improves communication through the continuous updating of the Registro website and social media presence, collecting data and information regarding the achievement of planned objectives, monitoring costs, and preparing progress reports.
- To collaborate in the preparation of financial statements and other preparatory documents for the meetings of the Registro Assembly and Executive Committee.
- To collaborate in organizing meetings on topics of general interest, such as ESG aspects or research and development.
- To maintain relationships with organizations, institutions, associations, or companies involved in projects funded (in whole or in part) by the Registro.
- To collaborate with the Institute for Research and Promotion of Standardization (ENR).
- To collaborate with RINA S.p.A. or other participating companies
- To monitor project progress and related costs
- To support the gatherin and analysis of data regarding the achievement of objectives set by the Registry's Steering Committee and/or Executive Committee
- To manage internal and external communications (reports, presentations, web content)
- To participate in technical discussions, events, and stakeholder engagement activities
Education
Qualifications
• Master's degree in environmental, technical, economic or social disciplines
• Experience in ESG, sustainability, environmental protection, or safety
• Experience in organizations, foundations, companies, or professional firms active in ESG issues
• Knowledge of ESG standards
• Proficiency in English and Italian languages
• Analysis and reporting skills
• Proficiency with data analytics tools
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Autonomy, precision, and aptitude for teamwork.
