Junior Cost Controller

RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Cost Controller to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Planning & Control Division.
Mission
In this role, you will contribute to the Group’s financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring processes.
Key Accountabilities
- Support in the delivery of financial information, analysis and forecasts to support continuous improvement of business performance.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analysing and explaining information.
- Support and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports that compare actual results with forecasts.
- Support and preparation of the the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and implementation.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures.
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyse causes of unexpected.
- Manage cost allocation drivers.
- Registry management cost allocation drivers.
Education
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in cost controlling, budgeting, finance, or a related role.
- Basic understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis).
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform cost variance analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different departments.
- Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
