RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Cost Controller to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Planning & Control Division.

Mission

In this role, you will contribute to the Group’s financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support in the delivery of  financial information, analysis and forecasts to support continuous improvement of business performance.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analysing and explaining information.
  • Support and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports that compare actual results with forecasts.
  • Support and preparation of the the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and implementation.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital expenditures.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyse causes of unexpected.
  • Manage cost allocation drivers.
  • Registry management cost allocation drivers.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree in Economics or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in cost controlling, budgeting, finance, or a related role.
  • Basic understanding of cost control principles, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform cost variance analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different departments.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory.
