RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Vendor Qualification Trainee to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the RINA Services Planning, Control & Tender Support Division.
Mission
During the internship, the candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the supplier qualification and accreditation process. The trainee will support the organization in managing and updating vendor lists in compliance with client requirements. This learning path aims to provide a clear understanding of compliance standards and evaluation criteria essential for accessing new business opportunities and enhancing the company’s competitiveness in tender processes.
Working closely with the team and under the guidance of the manager, the trainee will develop skills in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, building a strong foundation for future roles in supplier qualification and procurement.
Key Accountabilities
Vendor List Management:
- collaborate to ensure the company’s inclusion in clients' approved vendor lists, regularly verifying and updating information.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records to align with client-specific requirements.
Supplier Accreditation:
- Contribute operationally to the management of the end-to-end process of accrediting the organization as a qualified supplier for prospective clients.
Documentation Preparation:
- Collaborate with internal departments (quality, legal, technical, and HSE) to collect and prepare documentation for pre-qualification, including certifications, compliance statements, technical references, and company information.
- Submit and manage documentation on client portals and digital platforms.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Track deadlines for accreditation renewals and maintain records of client submissions.
- Generate regular reports on accreditation activities and the company’s standing relative to competitors.
Education
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using management software, databases, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work in a team, proactive, time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and engagement abilities.
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Computer skills:
- Proficiency in using operating systems and Microsoft Office package
- Proficiency in using Web Browser #LI-AU5
