Mission

RINA is currently recruiting for a for a Tender Advisor Intern to join its office in Genoa - Italy within the Inspection body Rina Check S.r.l. operating in according to the standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17020. 

The internship offers a training path aimed at developing knowledge and skills related to the tender management process. The intern will be guided and supported by the Tender team, gaining exposure to the preparation and coordination of tender documentation, while learning how to ensure compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements. #LI-MC1

Key Accountabilities

Throughout the internship, the intern will be involved in the following areas, under the supervision and mentorship of the team:

 

  • Tender Documentation:
  • Training on how to assist in the preparation of technical and administrative documentation.
  • Support in collecting required information from internal departments.
  • Timeline Management:
  • Exposure to timeline monitoring for ongoing tenders.
  • Support in communicating progress updates to project stakeholders.
  • Compliance Assurance:
  • Training on legal and procedural requirements for public and private tender submissions.
  • Collaboration with the legal team to understand key compliance aspects.
  • Data Management:
  • Involvement in maintaining and updating the tenders database.
  • Learning proper archiving methods for tender documentation.
  • Research and Information Gathering
  • Guided monitoring of public and private tender notices and results.
  • Support in researching potential tender opportunities.
  • Communication:
  • Participation in internal communication flows to collect documentation and information.
  • Assistance in maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the tender process.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Training on quality standards and procedures for tender documentation.
  • Involvement in document review processes under supervision.
  • Support in preparing and verifying award documentation and in the contract review process.

Education

Master’s Degree in Law or Economics

Qualifications

  • Interest in contract and tender processes

  • Willingness to learn about legal and compliance aspects of tendering

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to collaborate within a team and proactively engage in learning

  • Attention to detail and willingness to handle multiple tasks
