RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Supply Chain Scouting & Vendor Management Coordinator to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Supply Chain Scouting & Vendor Management Division.
Mission
As a Supply Chain Scouting & Vendor Management Intern you will support the management of suppliers/vendors to ensure alignment with the organization’s standards, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. You will assist with ESG assessments, vendor relationship management, and support reporting and compliance efforts.
Key Accountabilities
Vendor Management Support
- Assist in the onboarding process for new suppliers/vendors and qualification procedures.
- Help monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and quality standards
ESG Rating and Compliance Support
- Support the ESG assessments of suppliers/vendors to evaluate their environmental, social, and governance practices.
- Collect and assist in analyzing data related to supplier ESG performance, including sustainability initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and corporate governance practices.
- Help with ESG reporting efforts, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring regulatory requirements and industry standards related to ESG practices and compliance, and provide recommendations for improvement when needed.
Education
Qualifications
- A master's degree in Sustainability and ESG is appreciated.
- Previous experience or academic projects related to procurement, supplier management, or supply chain would be a plus.
- An interest or foundational knowledge of ESG practices would be beneficial.
- Fluency in Italian.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
