RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - M&A Analyst to join its office in Genoa or Milan (Italy) within the Global Strategic Initiatives Division.

Mission

The M&A Intern will support ongoing M&A projects while gaining exposure to the full transaction lifecycle. The internship is designed to provide a learning experience in project management, financial analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with experienced colleagues, the intern will have the opportunity to develop analytical, organizational, and communication skills while contributing to key activities within the team. #LI-MR1

Key Learning Activities

Scouting and Screening

  • Learn to support pipeline management activities.

  • Assist in preparing the M&A investment thesis framework.

  • Conduct desk research and scouting analysis.

Preliminary Assessment

  • Support in managing NDA activities.

  • Help organize meetings and follow-up actions.

  • Contribute to documentation filing and feedback collection.

  • Learn about the scoring process for potential opportunities.

Pre Due Diligence

  • Support project management activities under guidance.

  • Assist in project organization and deliverable preparation.

Due Diligence

  • Learn how to support project management tasks in this phase.

  • Assist with Virtual Data Room management.

  • Contribute to the preparation of key deliverables.

Communication

  • Facilitate communication between team members, advisors, and stakeholders.

  • Support the organization of regular project meetings, learning how to track progress and identify issues.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and updated M&A reporting under supervision.

  • Assist in preparing documentation to support decision-making.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Mathematics
Master’s Degree in Economics

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Strong willingness to learn and develop analytical skills.

  • Good communication and organizational abilities.

  • Curiosity and adaptability in a dynamic and international environment.
