RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Junior Buyer to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Supply Chain Strategic Purchasing & Mobility Division.

Mission

The Junior Buyer will assist in the Supply Chain process by researching supplier information, evaluating potential suppliers and validating supplier orders submitted by Business Units. This role is integral to ensuring that our Supply Chain activities are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s goals and compliance requirements. #LI-VB1 

Key Accountabilities

Support Development & Implementation of Supply Chain Strategy

  • Assist in aligning Supply Chain activities with guidelines, policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.

Supplier Scouting & Segmentation

  • Help maintain and update the Vendor List with suitable suppliers.

Purchase Order Management

  • Analyze purchase requests to manage supplier offers and negotiate accordingly.

  • Manage purchase orders throughout the entire Supply Chain process.

  • Handle requests for completion of purchasing operations in line with the process.

Support and Collaboration in Tender Processes

  • Support and collaborate in tender processes for the selection and identification of group suppliers.

  • Provide assistance with purchasing operations for the Legal Entities in the Iberian region.

Technical Collaboration

  • Collaborate with staff on technical evaluations and participate in Tender Clarification Meetings.

Education

High School Diploma/GED in Supply Chain Management
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management 
 
Qualifications
  • Interest in Supply Chain, Supply Chain management, or a related field
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Supply Chain software
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Fluent in Italian, good knowledge of English, and Spanish will be considered a plus.
