RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - International Workplace Solutions Junior Architect to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Global Property & Facility Management Division
Mission
As a Property and Facility Intern, you will assist in managing and maintaining our international offices, ensuring safety and operational efficiency. You will support sustainability initiatives and facility optimization, gaining hands-on experience in workspace enhancement, procurement processes, and collaboration with local and international teams. #LI-VB1
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the optimization of RINA offices to align with business needs and the defined Agile office targets.
- Support the design and planning of both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities, including systems such as HVAC, lighting, and other facilities.
- Learn to analyze proposed office layout options, assess alternatives, and select the most appropriate solutions in line with RINA standards.
- Collaborate with local colleagues to gather essential office data, including measurements, furniture details, and photographic documentation.
- Contribute to the design of new office layouts or the reorganization of existing spaces, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
- Assist in preparing detailed specifications for office renovation projects, to be used in procurement processes.
- Learn to organize and coordinate office move-in/out activities.
- Support the assessment of current maintenance activities, identifying inefficiencies or critical issues, and propose potential corrective actions.
- Participate in the selection and management of service providers, including transport, refurbishment, and construction services, through activities such as market and gap analyses.
Education
Requirements
- Architecture or Civil Engineering background.
- Ability to communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written, to effectively interact with international stakeholders.
- Fluency in Italian
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
