RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Intercompany Accountant to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Planning & Control Division.​

Mission

As an Intern in the Intercompany Accounting team you will facilitate accurate and efficient financial processes across RINA Group companies. You will be responsible for invoicing, managing intercompany transactions, and supporting reconciliations, thereby ensuring reliable financial reporting and contributing to the overall financial health and transparency of the organisation. You will support both operational units and senior management by providing timely financial data and insights, fostering collaboration and integrity in accounting practices.

Key Accountabilities

As part of the team, you will learn how to:

  • Create and send sales invoices to Group companies.
  • Record purchase invoices received from Group companies.
  • Support the team in managing daily accounting transactions.
  • Check accounts and help with account reconciliations.
  • Assist with intercompany reconciliations, making sure cash applications and “in‑transit” accounts are handled correctly and on time.

Education

High School Diploma/GED
Master’s Degree in Economics or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is interested in starting a career in accounting or finance. Experience from internships or university projects is a plus
  • Has a basic understanding of accounting principles and wants to learn more
  • Can use spreadsheet tools (like Microsoft Excel)
  • Pays attention to detail and is careful when working with numbers and documents
  • Speaks and writes Italian and English at a good level
