Internship - HR Process Improvement

RINA is currently recruiting to join its office in Genova, Italy, within the Global People Experience Division.
You will support the People Experience Process Improvement Manager and other Team members in analyzing and monitoring HR processes and initiatives that align people development and learning purposes together with our Group's strategic objectives.
As an intern, you will assist with participating in continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to the success of programs and projects in a variety of fields, including talent and performance management, learning, diversity and inclusion (D&I), and employer branding.
Mission
You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR process optimization while working with a collaborative and experienced team. You will get in touch with stakeholders with different background and professional expertise, learning how to turn data into powerful insights.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in identifying opportunities for HR process enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and project members to help develop and implement process improvement initiatives
- Support in analyzing and tracking KPIs to monitor the success of People Experience processes. Assist in gathering data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing actionable solutions.
- Assist in evaluating the impact of training programs and suggest strategies to enhance their effectiveness based on feedback and performance data.
- Help track and report on D&I initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Assist in monitoring the success of well-being and employee life-cycle initiatives and offer insights for potential improvements.
- Support the performance appraisal process by helping to collect feedback and assisting in the continuous improvement of the system.
Education
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or MSc program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR processes, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Outstanding academic performance with a keen aptitude for analytical thinking and complex challenges
- Proven track record of taking initiative and demonstrating leadership in university/work environment or extracurricular activities.
- Resourceful, intellectually curious, empathetic, and energetic, with a mature approach to problem-solving.
- Collaborative team player with a preference for working in dynamic, team-oriented settings.
- Communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively in Italian and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with HR software is a plus.
