RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Global Supply Chain Vendor Management Coordinator to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Supply Chain Scouting & Vendor Management Division.
Mission
As a Supply Chain Scouting & Vendor Management Intern, you will support the team in managing and monitoring suppliers to ensure compliance with the organization’s standards, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. You will have the opportunity to learn about vendor management processes, ESG assessments, and reporting activities, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function. #LI-VB1
Key Accountabilities
Vendor Management

Support the onboarding of new suppliers and assist in the qualification process.

Help monitor supplier performance against key indicators (KPIs, SLAs, quality standards).

Collaborate with the team to maintain effective and positive relationships with vendors.
ESG Rating and Compliance

Assist in conducting ESG assessments of suppliers, learning how to evaluate their environmental, social, and governance practices.

Collect and organize data related to supplier ESG performance (e.g., sustainability initiatives, diversity, inclusion, governance).

Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Contribute to monitoring regulatory and industry updates related to ESG standards.
Education
Qualifications
Fluency in Italian and a good knowledge of English (both written and spoken) are mandatory
Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow in supply chain and ESG topics, possibly explored through academic projects or thesis work
Strong communication and collaboration skills
