RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Environmental Consultant to join its office in Genova, Italy within the ESG & Sustainability Division.

Mission

The successful candidate will be introduced to a young and dynamic group working in the field of environmental engineering and Environmental and Social consultancy services.  The candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in worldwide projects in different industry sectors and to learn and practice how to manage potential threats to environmental and biodiversity  topics in accordance to international standards and guidelines. 

Educational objectives

  • Training on Project Financing of industrial projects 
  • Training on environmental, standards and guidelines adopted by International Financial Institutions  
  • Learn and practice how to develop environmental  sections of Environmental and Social Due Diligence Reports / Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Studies
  • Learn how to understand the client’s (i.e. Project Companies and Lenders) needs 
  • Learn about the preparation of technical sections of proposals for the services provided by the Project Financing Unit #LI-MP3

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational capabilities and proactivity 
  • Willingness to learn and improve 
  • Excellent knowledge of written and oral English and Italian, French is to be considered as a plus

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
