RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Energy and Resource Efficiency Junior Consultant to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.

Mission

Support consultancy activities by contributing to engineering analyses and technical solutions for projects related to water usage and water efficiency

Key Accountabilities

Learn to assess clients’ needs and support their translation into advice, analysis and technical solutions, in the form of technical assistance, always under the supervision of a consultant.
Support project activities from the initial concept stage through to completion, assisting in monitoring project timelines and developments.
Learn to contribute to the planning of technical solutions, supporting consultants in addressing technical issues and proposing solutions.
Support the preparation of project deliverables, including technical reports, project performance documentation and related materials.
Provide support to engineers and consultants or consulting teams by gathering, organizing and analyzing data required for the development of project deliverables and reporting.
Assist in creating documents and reports detailing assessments and fact-finding or survey data collected.
Support day-to-day project activities, including participating in site visits, assisting with measurements, supporting responses to contractor questions under the supervision of the responsible engineer, and helping facilitate communication between engineering and construction teams.
Learn to interact with clients and colleagues to support the achievement of project objectives, developing appropriate technical judgment.
Develop the ability to discuss and support the definition of client requirements, contributing to clear and well-written technical reports and proposals.
Develop an understanding of RINA’s business processes to support the preparation of commercial and technical proposals.

Education

Master’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Engineering
Interest in water management and/or energy efficiency topics, gained also through academic projects or university internships
Fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
At least conversational knowledge of Italian
