RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Commercial Analyst to join its office in Genoa within the IFI and Organizations Engineering Commercial Management Division.

Key tasks

As a Commercial Analyst, you will engage in a well-rounded training program that encompasses a variety of key activities essential for business success:

  1. Pipeline Management:
    - Continuously update and maintain the sales pipeline with new prospects, ensuring timely follow-up.
    - Develop skills to effectively prioritize and manage potential leads to maximise conversion rates.
  2. Contract Closing Support:
    - Assist in the closing of contracts, gaining crucial insights into the deal finalisation process.
  3. Cross-Selling and Mutual Opportunities:
    - Contribute to the development of cross-selling strategies to enhance organizational synergies.
  4. Competitor Tracking and Intelligence:
    - Monitor competitor activities and provide valuable intel to optimise our strategic positioning.
  5. Collaboration with Experienced Managers:
    - Work closely with seasoned Business Development Managers to identify new business opportunities, engage in client visits, and support various sales initiatives.
  6. Customer Engagement:
    - Interact with existing and potential customers to gauge their requirements and expectations, fostering strong relationships.
  7. Customer Acquisition Opportunities:
    - Partner with mentors to explore and identify potential avenues for customer acquisition.
  8. Customer Satisfaction and Repeat Business:
    - Support initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, emphasising value-driven interactions.
  9. Contract, Tender, and Quotation Support:
    - Assist in the preparation and submission of customer contracts, tenders, and quotations, gaining exposure to the competitive bidding process.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Language
Master’s Degree in Economics or Political Science

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Business Developer internship will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Economics, International Studies, Political Science or a Foreign Language.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify actionable opportunities.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to exploring business development strategies.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and tools to support business development efforts.
