RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Certification Business Support Advisor to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the  Division.​

Mission

The Business Support Advisor Intern assists with administrative and operational tasks, such as customer data entry and invoice preparation, supporting accurate documentation, effective customer interactions, and the smooth running of business operations. #LI-MC1

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the coordination with technicians, clients, and internal teams to help define session dates, scopes, and logistical details.

  • Assist in monitoring deadlines to help ensure the timely execution of sessions and the availability of complete documentation.

  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of planning tools and systems used to track activity status and resource availability.

  • Support the management of the sessions calendar, helping ensure an efficient allocation of technicians and resources.

  • Assist in preparing reports and tracking KPIs related to operational processes.

  • Collaborate with Certification Operations and Commercial teams, supporting planning activities in line with contractual commitments and client expectations.

Education

High School Diploma/GED in Business Administration Finance Management
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General

Qualifications

  • Support customer data management, including helping maintain accurate records and assisting with inquiries.

  • Assist in offer management, contract processing, and customer order fulfillment.

  • Basic familiarity with invoicing, payment processing, and timesheet management is a plus.

  • Good attention to detail to help ensure accuracy in contracts, orders, invoices, and customer records.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal teams.

  • Ability to assist in handling customer inquiries professionally and contribute to resolving issues efficiently.

  • Develop problem-solving skills to support billing discrepancies, order concerns, and other customer-related challenges.

  • Awareness of compliance requirements related to documentation, invoicing, and customer interactions.

  • Ability to multitask and support priorities in a fast-paced business environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic familiarity with CRM systems or internal business tools.

  • While not mandatory, exposure to financial operations, such as payment tracking and invoice management, is an advantage.

  • A proactive and customer-oriented mindset, helping ensure a high level of service and satisfaction.
