RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Architect to join its office in Genoa within the Civil Engineering Division.​

Mission

The Intern will support the graphic design and development of medium to high complexity architectural projects, working under the guidance of the Senior Architect across all project phases. The role combines creative design and technical expertise with graphic modeling software to deliver solutions that meet quality standards and regulatory requirements

Key Accountabilities

 

Architectural Design Development:

Support the development of architectural concepts and design solutions aligned with client requirements, technical constraints, and sustainability objectives.

Technical Coordination:

Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to integrate structural, MEP, and building performance requirements into the design.

Project Planning:

Support for project planning activities, including scope definition, timelines, and design deliverables.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and relevant international standards.

Design Documentation:

Support the production and management of technical drawings, BIM models, presentations, and project documentation.

Construction Phase Involvement:

Provide design input during construction, supporting technical issues resolution and ensuring alignment with the design intent.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in design software such as 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Suite;
  • knowledge of BIM processes and tools;
  • understanding of building codes, construction methods, and technical standards;
  • ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams;
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • knowledge of SketchUp, V-Ray, Rhino, or other visualization tools is a plus.
