Integration System Engineer

RINA is currently recruiting for a Integration System Engineer to join its office in Genoa within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.​

Mission

This role is focused on performing detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.

Key Accountabilities

Performing detailed engineering plan review, in compliance with applicable RINA rules, international conventions and contractual requirements Resolve issues related to conflicting design requirements and material standards;

Performing structural assessments and provide specialist advice for service delivery, research or development work within agreed broad parameters that include budget constraints and contractual requirements;

Overseeing and managing day-to-day project elements, visit sites to take measurements;

Ensure correct and up-to-date data is used and complete documentation is submitted to officials and other day-to-day duties;

Developing project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision of more experienced engineers;

Reviewing the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentations and engineering drawings, etc.);

Reviewing progress reports and take appropriate action to ensure requirements are met;

Being aware and understand the Quality Policy;

Ensuring that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS, controlling of data, taking care for equipment and workstation, and respecting delivery times, and any issue that contributes to both internal and external customer satisfaction;

He/she contributing to the QMS improvement according to his/her role;

Assessing complex structural problems for internal/external clients to determine solutions with minimal supervision;

Answering complex contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer, and serve as liaisons between engineering and construction personnel.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Other

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electromechanical/hydraulic systems.

  • Reading and interpretation of technical drawings.

  • Ability to perform risk analyses.
