RINA is currently recruiting for a Instrumentation Field Engineer to join its office in Genoa within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Key Accountabilities

The scope of the work includes field support activities to the engineeringin the instrumentation and automation disciplines. The working site is the Refinery Plant in Venice.
The resource will support the client in the execution of Field Engineering activities related to instrumentation and automation and relevant to the Biorefinery project.
He/She will perform the role of field engineer interfacing and coordinating with the Client's Focal Points, contributing to the resolution of technical problems that may arise; in addition, the resource must interface with other field engineering resources (civil, electrical, piping), with the EM of the project, with the DPM, with the site manager, with the construction manager and with the supervision staff of the Client at the site.

The Instrument and Automation Field Engineer should also carry out the following activities:
• Provide technical support during all on-site meetings, including videoconference
• Field visits and visual inspections on items, tools, etc
• Field survey operations, retrieval of documentation from the refinery archive;
• Provide technical evaluation and feedback to Technical queries and/or deviation requests that should come from EPC contractors or vendors;
• Provide assessment and feedback of engineering changes issued by the EPC contractor and approved by the Client;
• Support the Client's construction team for all the aspects related to the engineering issued by EPC contractor or vendor.

Education

High School Diploma/GED in General Studies/Other

Qualifications

 - A minimum of several years' progressive experience in the reqested discipline;
- Previous experience in coordination;
- Previous experiences at refineries are beneficial.
