RINA is currently recruiting for a Infrastructures & Mobility Project Manager to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the International Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

Mission

As an Infrastructures & Mobility Project Manager at RINA Consulting S.p.A., you will play a crucial role in overseeing and leading complex projects within the Infrastructure and Mobility sectors. You will be based in Italy, with the opportunity for extensive travel across all European countries. Your responsibilities will be integral to the successful execution of paramount projects in the European region, ensuring they are delivered according to the highest quality standards and within specified timelines and budgets.#LI-MT3

Key Accountabilities

As the Infrastructures & Mobility Project Manager, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Leading and managing large-scale engineering projects in sectors such as Metro, Rail, LRT, Roads, Ports, and Wet/Dry Infrastructures.
  • Overseeing the complete project lifecycle from planning and design to execution and close-out, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, and ensuring strict adherence to them.
  • Managing and mitigating project risks, ensuring proactive identification and resolution of potential issues.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery, overseeing contract management and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, performance, and financial metrics, ensuring transparency and effective communication with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with quality standards and requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and methodologies.
  • Leading stakeholder engagement and communication strategies to maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.

Education

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Other in Management Engineering or Other

Qualifications

The successful candidate for the Infrastructures & Mobility Project Manager position should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Project Management and Contract Management within the Mobility (Metro, Rail, LRT) and Infrastructure (Roads, Ports, Wet and Dry Infrastructures) sectors.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Extensive experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, along with a solid understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management strategies.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
