RINA is currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager - Data&Analytics to join its office in Genoa or Rome (Italy) within the Global IT Operations Division (IT Corporate).

Mission

You will lead and coordinate data management and analytics projects across our organization. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering data solutions that meet the business needs and align with the data strategy and governance framework. As an IT project manager, you will work with various stakeholders, including business users, data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists, to define the project scope, objectives, and deliverables. You will also manage the project budget, schedule, resources, risks, and quality. You will ensure that the project follows the best practices and standards for data management and analytics, such as data mesh, data quality, data security, and data ethics.
 

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that they meet the scope, quality, and budget requirements
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and senior management
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
  • Apply best practices and methodologies for project management, data analysis, and financial reporting
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources, and provide insights and recommendations to support decision making and problem solving
  • Propose solutions in data&analytics sector in adherence to the company needs

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
Master’s Degree

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably in data management and analytics
  • Strong knowledge of data management and analytics concepts, tools, and methodologies, such as data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, data lake, data governance, data catalog, data lineage, data quality, data security, data ethics, data visualization, and data storytelling
  • Hands-on experience with data management and analytics platforms and technologies, such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Purview, Apache Parquet, Power BI, SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Machine Learning
  • Certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, is a plus
  • Fluent Italian and English
