RINA is currently recruiting for a Global Tax & Reporting Analystt - Maternity leave to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Credit & Finance Division.

Mission

As a Global Tax Specialist, you will be at the heart of RINA’s global fiscal strategy. From tax planning to reporting, you will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all tax-related processes. Key Accountabilities

Financial Planning and Analysis on Fiscal Matters

  • Build and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for tax activities.
  • Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Track performance against budget and highlight areas for improvement.

Research and Analysis

  • Stay current on tax laws, regulations, rulings, and case law.
  • Assess tax implications of transactions, investments, and business operations.

Tax Planning and Optimization

  • Identify opportunities (credits, exemptions) to reduce tax liabilities and maximize benefits.
  • Advise on the tax impact of mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Draft and electronically submit annual and monthly tax obligations.
  • Support colleagues in preparing tax documentation for tenders and provide consultancy before contract signing or in supplier/customer disputes.

Financial Reporting

  • Gather and manage financial and operational data to support tax analysis and compliance.
  • Ensure all reporting meets regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits.

Tax Management and Compliance

  • Lead tax planning and compliance activities, including preparing and filing tax returns.
  • Monitor regulatory changes to maintain compliance and strengthen tax strategy.
  • Implement internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and protect company assets.

Communication and Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external advisors, and tax authorities to support all tax operations.
  • Communicate tax deadlines, requirements, and key updates to stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management or Economics

Qualifications

    • 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting, tax, or related fields
    • Strong understanding of management control principles and process optimization
    • Proven ability to drive change in complex organizations
    • Leadership capabilities and strong stakeholder management skills
    • Solid project management experience in cross-functional environments
    • Adaptability and resilience in fast-changing contexts
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Microsoft Power, Excel, BI, Tableau)
    • Fluency in English
